Last Mile Delivery team – Fleet Manager

Due to the continue expansion of Amazon Logistics, the Last Mile delivery team now requires a fleet manager

As a key member of the Last Mile team you will be primarily responsible for the management of the AMZL leased vehicles used by Last Mile delivery network to support the delivery experience for Amazon customers during Peak 2017 and then into 2018 as we develop a varied and dynamic vehicle proposition for our delivery providers (109 companies.)

Responsibilities:
· Management of the leased vehicles to
o understanding the location of each vehicle, the DA driver and the current managing party
o keep records to track the history of all vehicles
o tracking damage to vehicle during handovers between parties
o liaise with repair companies nationwide to ensure repairs were being carried out
o liaise with insurance companies to complete Claim Forms and track through to conclusion
o manage liabilities arising from the vehicles such as parking fines and speeding tickets
o Responsible for being the SME and voice of the Last Mile Delivery team (and its’ partners) in the proposition development of key strategic projects for AMZL.
· Providing regular reporting to Last Mile team and ARMADA programme
· Work with the ARMADA programme to develop, deliver and manage a vehicle proposition for AMZL UK in 2018. This will cover a suite of vehicle types and solutions to fit the ever changing market for delivery vehicles.

The ideal candidate requires strong organisational skills experience, ideally combined with previous fleet experience, though wider general operations experience involving third party vendors or outsource providers would also be acceptable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelors Degree or equivalent
· Experience of delivering complex cross functional projects in a high growth, complex business
· Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality.
· Exceptional organization skills and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively and problem-solve
· Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills
· Strong executive presentation skills
· Ability to travel in the EU
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment is crucial.
