About The Opportunity
To provide effective and efficient administrative support to help deliver the Marketing and Communications strategy, positioning GKN Driveline both internally and externally to achieve our goal to become a £5bn business by 2018

Key Responsibilities
Provide full administrative support to Vice President Marketing, Communications and Business Planning to include: diary coordination, travel booking via the appointed travel agent including means of travel, ticketing, accommodation and visas, administer expense claims, and arranging meetings and project support.

•Provide full administrative support to enable effective ways of working of the Marketing, Communications and Business Planning team, particularly the Head of Events and Regional Communications, to include: coordinating the team meeting schedule, agenda review and circulation, meeting minutes, tracking actions and producing action log and updating online team calendar.

•Organise global travel via the appointed travel agent including means of travel, ticketing, accommodation and visas.

•Provide full administrative support for the Global Marketing and Communications team, to include coordinating team meetings, weekly, and face-to-face workshops approximately twice a year, arranging the webex details, coordinating agenda review and circulation, tracking actions and producing action log.

•Distribute division-wide announcements and work with the wider administrative support community to ensure visibility of senior management movements.

•Control invoice tracker, ensuring visibility of spend versus budget.

•Coordinate the quarterly CEO calls using webex.

•Lead coordination of SMMT and small regional events.

•Coordinate internal and external Global Marketing and Communication events such as Frankfurt, Winter Test etc to include: full administrative and logistics support to the event leader, exhibition product support, shipping and organizing assets of associated events, support regional leads to ensure product pools are consistent and up to date, and ensure that senior business leaders and their guests have a seamless experience when participating in such events.

•Establish and maintain effective and efficient administrative processes and procedures which support the smooth operation of the Marketing, Communications and Business Planning team.

Formal qualifications required:
- 5 GCSE’s grade A-C to include English and Maths or equivalent.
- Administrative / Business Administration qualification

Previous experience required:
- Experience of working in a complex, global, multi-region organisation is preferred but not essential.
- A dynamic self-starter, a team player with a proven ability to work autonomously.
- Persuasive and diplomatic to complement great enthusiasm and energy.
