In this role you would be responsible for the operation of an automated aerospace certified anodize process. This role is an essential part of achieving the cosmetic appearance and anticorrosion properties required for Lipskins. You would also be responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This position reports to the working team lead in the area or directly to the supervisor.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

--Use and or/interpret processing information from worksheets, shop travelers specifications, and other written or verbal instructions in accomplishing work assignments.
--Understand and utilize the controls and instruments on equipment to process materials properly.
--Verify, record, and/or sign off processing data on charts, logs, and other documentation as required.
--Utilize hand tools, power driven drills, etc., forklift, truck and overhead cranes.
--Inventory, inspect, and clean processed material.
--Perform equipment performance certification activities including chemical testing.
--Perform chemical transfer and waste water processing activities.
--Participate in regulatory and customer audits.
--Participate and contribute to cross functional high performance teams.
--Recognize diagnose, take any necessary in-process actions and report equipment malfunctions to supervision.
--Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned.

ABOUT YOU

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

--High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training desirable.
--2+ years experience with chemical processing or chemical manufacturing.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

--Understand chemical safety, labeling and handling requirements.
--Basic math skills.
--Must be able to read and understand written planning and follow verbal instructions. Ability to read and understand work instructions and engineering drawings required.
--Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
--Possess basic computer skills.
