Strategy / Scope

Within Data and Analytics we have created the Data Analytics Transformation team focused on managing global Data Analytics demand, developing our external analytics roadmap for development and deployment of full Data Analytics solutions.

The Data Analytics team is focused on developing globally scalable solutions in the areas of Commercial, Net Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance & Supply.

With this development to deployment cycle central to our strategy we have established the role of the Data Analytics Engagement Lead. This role will maintain a clear development and deployment plan by region, ensure the roadmap sequencing is optimized for the region and is aligned with senior leaders in the region.

Purpose of Role

The role will partner with the regional BRM (DBS Business Relationship Manager) to collate demand for Data Analytics solutions.

The role will establish a governance structure for the regional transformation and deployment plans. This role will also establish the right governance structure to review BAU service performance with senior regional leaders, supporting the business to accelerate the leverage of data analytics and data insights across the region.

Leadership Capabilities

Be a great business partner to the Global Analytics Transformation Team, Global Data Services & Governance Team, Global development Product Managers, Country BRMs, Finance directors, and functional leads - through building great relationships, supporting and challenging with skill & holding leaders to account for full delivery.
Influencing skills are critical as this role must work in partnership with regional & in-market senior stakeholders, D&A, IS, HR, Finance, Commercial, Marketing Procurement & external resources and must be able to influence at all levels of the business from analysts to GMs.
Experience with multinational companies (preferably CPG) or IT consultancy companies in relevant analytics solution delivery demonstrating a progression of leadership roles. Ability to lead others through ambiguity & change to drive clarity of execution

Top Accountabilities

Own and Drive the Data Analytics transformation regional roadmap through hands-on leadership, senior business leader engagement, clarity of vision and determination to succeed
Own the DA deployment plan by region and the related sequencing.
Develop and Own the regional Data Analytics market service management review process with the D&A delivery teams.
Ensure a full and clear business case for each Market change event and work with the BRM to ensure a clear and align benefits case and ensure ultimately there is full delivery of the business case.
Work with the Markets and BRMs to drive full solution adoption and embedment.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Academic or professional qualifications in Business, Computer Science. Analytic management experience and/or leadership are highly advantageous
Likely 10-15 years experience at a multinational company
Proven ability to impact and influence at a senior stakeholder level virtually across markets with solid networking, influencing & communication skills.
Needs to be a very visible, credible leader, ability to lead others through ambiguity to drive clarity of execution.
Excellent relationship management skills with senior stakeholders is paramount
Experienced in Data Analytics solution development, Analytics platform structuring, insight capability development, COE development, Data management structures and business information requirements exploration and definition.
Demonstrated expertise delivering analytics solutions in a global enterprise environment
Experienced in transformation risk assessment and management.
Experience in Service Management
MicroStartegy, SQL Server, PowerBI, Azure Data Factory, HDInsights, or similar.
