Your Role in Our Growth
This Senior Partner Manager role is focused leading Amazon Pay to new places, new verticals, and new market segments. Specifically, you will be tasked with launching our business in Ireland in addition to winning partnerships within new verticals for Amazon Pay in the UK. The scope of the role will entail a personal sales target that encompasses:

· Identify and develop a strategy of engagement in Ireland (40% of role)
· Prospect, call, qualify and win high value and/or strategically important merchants for Amazon Pay.
· Understand the wider business drivers of Amazon Pay to drive awareness/adoption through opening new verticals/market segments.
· Create new internal business processes, tools, structures, etc to drive growth/continuous improvement and create new opportunities for Amazon Pay.
Operating in a fast-moving and challenging environment, Amazon’s high performance bar requires that you are self-motivated and target driven, skilled in phone based sales, able to work autonomously and take full control and responsibility for sales targets. This role can be based in either London or Dublin.

Who We Are Looking For
A Leader:
· Become a thought leader by developing deep understanding of the Amazon Pay technical product and value proposition.
· Partner with internal teams to align programs and initiatives to drive growth and guide the direction of our product.
· Help build a multi-level relationship engagement between the merchant organization and Amazon.
· Posses an internal drive to thrive and succeed in the ambiguity of our start-up environment.

· Manage complex contract negotiations, creating new models of execution where necessary.
· Identify and optimize high-return marketing engagements with new merchants to drive new revenue opportunities.
· Serve as the primary relationship liaison for business, technical and high priority customer service escalations during merchant launch process.
· Develop and execute new business strategies which create significant value to the business – opening new market verticals or pioneering new commercial models.

Communication & Reporting:
· Drive content for internal business communications highlighting various initiatives, successes, and platform improvement opportunities through voice of the merchant.
· Prioritise the needs of merchant clients in a manner that balances merchant client needs and internal priorities.
· Set up periodic multi-level engagement with cross-functional stakeholders across select merchants and Amazon Pay organization to address business, operational and strategic priorities.
· Be accountable for driving, measuring, and reporting on key inputs and outputs in Salesforce.com and other reporting systems.


· Experience in one/more of: sales, ecommerce, payments.
· Undergraduate degree from top tier university
· Analytical approach to problem solving and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement
· Demonstrable negotiation skills and influencing abilities
· Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
· Experience working with nascent products/services in new markets
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Effective in dealing with C-suite large and extra-large merchants
· Independence and flexibility in dealing with multiple complex issues
· Experience executing on programs and projects with minimal resources


· Composed, poised and professional demeanour in all situations
· Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
