Your Mission:
Schneider Electric's portfolio is market leading in the area of Energy & power metering, Power monitoring, LV power SCADA automation & control and power quality correction. We are uniquely positioned to provide solutions that provide safe, reliable, efficient and connected power and energy for the built environment. Our Category Marketing Manager is the driving force to create, define and implement operational strategy to grow the business. The mission of the Category Marketing Manager is to provide strong commercial ownership and support around the offer defined within the category - in this case Power Solutions. This requires close working with both sales teams and directly with customers to ensure that the category meets its commercial objectives in terms of market share achievement, price positioning, profitability, demand generation and other defined objectives. The post holder will also ensure that offers are launched and promoted fully to maximize there commercial opportunity, and that new offer needs are identified and are captured on the product roadmaps of the relevant Business Units or locally sourced where relevant.

Your Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary country contact for the offer including reporting, action planning and strategy development at both a UK and BU level.
2. Ensure that all elements of the marketing mix are appropriately managed and deployed to support the growth of the offer. Create and regularly monitor KPI's to ensure that actions are having the desired output, or to allow modification of actions to create desired outputs.
3. Understand, adapt, develop and propose communications by channel, segment and by entity through development of Marketing Communication tools that both promote and inform on the offer capabilities.
4. Identify tangible category market opportunities including real customer value propositions and develop/implement go to market strategies/plans that drive order intake and secure market share.
5. Understand the competitive market environment for the category including hardware and software solutions and how price positioning is deployed to secure business objectives utilising multiple channel approaches.
6. Ensure Competitor knowledge is captured and utilised within the business.
7. Provide strong leadership and day to day people management to the Assistant Category Marketing Manager, and ensure a strong focus on people development.

About You:
Marketing qualification - essential
Electrical qualification - desirable
Similar experience with strong exposure to technical/commercial aspects of the product offer being managed

The role requires a strong commercial focus and an ability to create actions with tangible sales revenue and margin benefits. The post holder should posses a strong technical awareness of the offers within the category.
