The taste:

The purpose of the role is to provide Costing support for both the annual SKU reset and ongoing Brand Change projects (innovation, renovation, etc.), from indicative costings through to final product costing, applying a high attention to detail to ensure the integrity of costing data and the accuracy of the product cost.

Ingredients:

• Provision of indicative costings – supporting project managers with indicative costings for innovation / renovation etc projects, ensuring accurate calculation of product costs, overheads, depreciation etc for gatekeeper decision making purposes.
• New SKU Costing – Following gate sign-off, costing the product in SAP liasing with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the SKU cost in SAP and finance Costing tracker.
• Finance Excellence – working with the Costing Manager to develop and embed Costing rules across the brand change community for the following financial year, ensuring these are clearly understood and adhered to. Coaching brand change community to develop their understanding of costing to ensure a transparent and robust costing process.
• Standardisation / Simplification – in collaboration with other Costing colleagues, simplifying and standardising costing processes into a single way of Costing.
• Support the annual cost reset for ISC ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and the process is completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure appropriate margins are earned by the different brand owners on cross border sales of bulk & packaged goods. Manage the relationship between Costing, the Irish Tax and Statutory Teams

How to serve:

• University or College degree in Economics or Finance and Accounting
• 2-3 years experience in Accounting, technical accounting skills is required
• Strong attention to detail and good knowledge of excel / SAP desirable
• Experience of working effectively with stakeholders and building strong relationships.
• Ability to manage a large group of stakeholders and prioritise own workload effectively.
• Ability to manage Non-Finance stakeholders.
• Prior Costing experience in a commercial environment is beneficial however not essential.
