Electronic Data Interchange Process Specialist

The Taste:
The purpose of this role is to support Diageo’s automation agenda by ensuring the successful transmission and deployment of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) messages and related changes. The role holder is responsible for the continued improvement of the EDI related processes to maximise efficiency. Provide rigour and structure to all deployments whilst minimising the time of implementation.

Ingredients:
• Monitor existing EDI operations and resolve all EDI issues
• Work closely and effectively with EDI developers, 3rd party service providers, internal teams to deliver business goals
• Deploy, maintain and test new EDI solutions
• Document, maintain and improve Diageo EDI processes
• Support, coordinate and communicate globally EDI related process improvements and /or initiatives, consultant in process change planning and implementation
• Stakeholder management across a wide range of internal and external (3rd party service providers, customers) parties
• Ensure that we always operate with the appropriate controls

How to Serve:
• University or College Degree in finance, economics or IT
• Minimum 2 years experience at multinational company in either Finance / Order to Cash or EDI / IS Support background
• Fluent Business English
• Proven working knowledge of SAP IDOCs
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to handle issues with an appropriate sense of urgency
• Good communicative and influencing capabilities dealing with stakeholders
