The Talent Engagement Manager (TEM) is a critical stakeholder relationship role that is focused on ensuring the consistent delivery and an excellent candidate experience to achieve Diageo’s Talent Ambition. The role is deeply connected to the business functions and ensures compliant hiring takes place. This is a significant business partnering role where value add service is constantly required and expected.

How to serve:
Responsible for working closely and be a strategic business partner with the HR and hiring manager communities to be able to hire ahead of the curve
Accountable for delivering the best quality candidates at the shortlist stage of the hiring process that have been previously been assessed for key capabilities, experience and potential
Owns the talent agenda and develops strategy, plans and interventions to ensure a high quality of delivery
Will have responsibility for partnering with various business functions and will be deeply connected to the talent needs and ambition
Demonstrates a deep commercial understanding of the business plans
Has an experimental aspect to the approach of finding great talent, knows where the great talent is externally and is actively networking in the groups and associations most relevant to the talent
Knows and understand the performance metrics that drive the Talent Engagement function and how these are influences and impacted through their mind set, behaviours and actions

Ingredients:
Minimum 5 years of experience in an end-to-end recruiter role
Strong understanding of the shared service centers’ market
Having strong external radar and awareness of recruitment best practices
Ability to use sourcing channels creatively, source and attract passive candidates
Having exceptional consultative skills and being able to influence action and change with stakeholders
Experience of managing multiple senior stakeholders and candidates in a fast paced environment
Ability to generate insight from data and generate action plans from data insights
Ability to listen but also persuasively convey opinions and think out of the box
