The taste:

To own and deliver the business unit financial commitments, Scorecard & Opportunities & Risks, including upward reporting.
To analyse the International Supply Techincal Centre performance to drive insight, seek opportunities and course correct where necessary.
Provide financial expertise & commercial drive in decision support of all site financials.

Critical to success is to have an excellent understanding of core financial processes and the work required to ensure tasks are completed accurate and timely. An understanding of how financial systems, BS, CF, P&L planning and reporting works, its outputs and inputs, is essential, as is a sensitivity to the reporting needs of the team’s many customers.

Ingredients:

Deliver Financial Commitments, including;
• Collation, distribution and analysis of cost centre reports
• Discussions with cost centre managers on monthly basis to challenge variances
• Own and deliver month end reporting and generate O&R’s
• Ensure full understanding of actual v’s budget throughout year
• Analysis of headcount to identify variances and explanations to ensure tight control of headcount budget
• Liaise with brand Change managers to discuss origination actual v’s plan and latest outlook
Own & Deliver Business Unit Financials & Performance Promise, including;
• month end processes (accruals, journals, Opportunities & Risks and month end tracker); analysing and reporting International Supply Techincal Center’s position against budget, explaining deviations from plan; providing the site leadership team with AOP, Strat Plan and cost centre management processes.
Understand the Financials behind IST performance to drive realistic improvement plans, including;
• Focusing on overhead analysis interacting with the cost centre owners to identify and support changes to drive improvement; attending monthly management meetings to ensure finance are supporting where required. Build up a thorough understanding of Origination plan, actual spend and forecasting: work closely with project managers and challenge outlook.

How to serve:

• University or College degree in Economics or Finance and Accounting
• Minimum 4 years experience in Accounting and Finance within multinational environment
• Fluent English knowledge
• Ability to work alone, attention to details/accuracy
• Ability to challenge the business
• Represent good stakeholder management skills including non- finance and senior stakeholders
• Ability to work with stakeholders in remote locations
• Experience in working with SAP or integrated software system is an advantage.
• International (part) qualification (IAS/UK/US GAAP) is an advantage.
