Job Profile
This position is accountable for inside sales of all Pelco products/solutions/services under the direction of the Sales Manager/Director. Responds to customer inquiries (phone, fax, e-mail) sales opportunities and addresses and services the needs of established accounts with the ultimate goal to develop and grow business with the team.

Job Responsibilities

Sales Support and Service

·Act as a primary contact for Partners and Non-Partner dealers in assigned territory
a.Build relationships with key personnel
b.Follow up with partners on order discrepancies, changes, and OBS crossovers
·Work with Outside Account Mangers to provide inside support as requested by all partners
a.Quotes, CPD’s, project requests, bid specs, changes to CPD’s
·Undertake field site surveys as required to design a full CCTV system and handle any integration requirements.
·Design Pelco CCTV systems by interpreting information from specifications and drawings
·Provide support in product demonstrations in house or in the field as required
·Attend pre-install meetings with BDM’s to support any technical aspects of the design process

Business Development (in collaboration with field sales team)

·Share with field sales teams any requests to visit partners, potential dealers or end users
·Develop opportunities with partner personnel in assigned territory including outbound calling to support planned campaigns
·Work with Distribution Field Manager to review monthly POS reports to identify key indirect dealers to target for partner status, but not necessarily to sign up as direct accounts.
·Share any potential leads or opportunities with end users to the sales teams
·Coordinate with end user team to identify potential partners to support end user opportunities
·Ensure Partner maintains integrity of leads that are provided by end user team
·Support marketing activities
a. Communicate any key information (new products, announcements, promotions) to local personnel for assigned accounts
b. Process marketing requisitions and demo orders
c. Take an active lead in the delivery of trade shows
d. Assist in animating the Region by participating in Promotions and Marketing programs, as agreed to with Sales Management.
·Prepare BOM cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with Engineers, Architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
·Proactive use of SalesForce for mandatory company activities. This included but not limited to opportunity logging, accounts, contacts and leads as well as event activity and reports.


Education and experience

·Bachelor’s degree in a technical area - desired
·Minimum 3 years of inside sales experience – mandatory
·CCNA or other similar network qualification - desired

Professional competencies

·In depth knowledge of the video security industry and specifically Pelco product lines and technologies.

·Strong phone presence and experience with outbound calling

·Demonstrated experience in solution-selling

·A good understanding of IP network design

·Minimum 1 year proven bid design support - mandatory

·Strong communication skills, both oral (specifically on the phone) and written, ability to communicate with diverse range of customers
·Ability to simplify and clarify complex problems to broad and diverse audiences and to influence appropriately
·Possess the ability to effectively manage time and carry out multiple tasks together within a period; ability to adapt to changing priorities
