We are looking for a software engineer who has a high bar for code quality and a passion for clean & scalable design. You are constantly challenging yourself and others to come up with better solutions. You have a passion for learning new technologies and can pick up new technologies quickly.

Key responsibilities include:
· Drive the architecture and technology choices that enable world-class online games
· Design, implement and operate highly-scalable, highly-available and secure gaming services
· Mentor other junior engineers on the team on code quality
· Actively participate in design and code reviews
· Be a champion for operational excellence: Insist on the highest standards and write service code that helps continuously improve availability and reliability of our service
· Have fun working on ground breaking technology with people just as passionate about their work as you!


· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) experience
· 4+ years experience of developing production software systems
· Experience of taking product requirements and developing software architectures and designs to bring them to life
· Proficiency in computer science fundamentals – data structures, algorithms and OO design
· Strong Java programming experience


· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
· Game industry experience or knowledge
· AWS experience.
