Diageo continues to strengthen the Centres of Expertise (CoEs) concept as part of the Data&Analytics agenda. We are creating a new Centre of Expertise - called Commercial Transformation (COPS) – supporting Europe market to ensure our Sales Operations capabilities are as efficient and effective as possible. This team will generate analyses and insights to help the Europe sales organization across all levels take informed decisions. This will also give our Sales Ops teams more time to analyse data, and develop action plans to attain organisational objectives.
We are looking for a Senior Commercial Reporting Analyst into this new CoE team who will be the single point of contact for Commercial Reporting & Analysis (R&A) for a specific country or cluster in Europe (Iberia or Mediterranean), translating business needs onto the platform and acting as a helpdesk for all R&A related queries.

How to serve:
Perform the analysis of KPIs (realised sales / forecasted sales ratio, etc.) against plan
Gathering current and historic information to analyse historical and planned promotion events
Identify key trends in commercial performance and coordinate with reporting lead / Commercial Operations Managers to establish and cascade improvement opportunities to the sales team
Responsible for adapting data proposals to preserve data structure and integrity
Develop survey requirements and report specifications for ad-hoc requests and liase with the respective Commercial Systems & Data senior analysts to update the master data
Update ad-hoc surveys approved by the Reporting Lead
Understand requirements from country teams and translate the same for CoE
Ad-Hoc tasks

Possess Bachelor’s degree in a highly numerical discipline, ideally with a focus on Data or Analytics
At least 5+ years experience in commercial reporting (preferably FMCG)
Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written English and Spanish or Greek or Italian is an advantage
Ability to Work in virtual teams and instruct others at other locations
Possess high level of numeracy and precision, with high analytical skills and good reconciliation
Has experience in Power BI as well as the aptitude to embrace other technologies as required
Has proven experience and comfort in producing analysis on complex data sets
Has experience working with shared service centers (preferred)
Possess deep understanding in how data is stored, and very comfortable manipulating data structures in both complex MS Excel environments as well from data warehouses and SQL servers
Able to manage multiple and complex processes and complex data inputs
Possess strong interpersonal, numerical and problem solving skills
