The Student Lifecycle Project was established to develop a future vision for the student lifecycle, and to manage the resulting development.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic SITS Analyst, with excellent knowledge of the Tribal SITS student information system, to play a significant role in the delivery of this Project. This is an exciting opportunity for you to play a key role supporting the delivery of a major change programme of strategic importance.

You will play a key role during project implementation, applying your understanding of the capabilities of SITS to help develop a technical design for the student information system that delivers consistent and high-quality processes across the student lifecycle.

Your role will require you to work closely with the project team, University stakeholders and the supplier to ensure that the solution is delivered according to the required specification.

It is anticipated that you will be a SITS developer/analyst with experience supporting or implementing SITS to serve a range of student processes. You will be able to plan and progress work activities in the mid to longer term, be well organised, a strong communicator with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities

SITS Development:
• Participate in the design and configuration of the SITS solution for The University, representing the Project Team at cross-university forums, meetings and workshops as appropriate.
• Contribute to the evaluation of tender requests to determine their feasibility and value to the project as required.
• Contribute to progressing SITS development within all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Plan, design and implement vistas, workflows, standard reports and letters (SRL).
• Assist with the design, development and implementation of the curriculum model in the SITS solution.
• Assist with the design, development and implementation of the SITS security model.
• Provide support and contribute to the testing, data migration and integration activities as required.
• Contribute to the development of project standards to ensure developments artefacts and configuration are appropriately recorded, stored and maintained.
• Contribute to the development of user documentation as required.
• Provide second line support for SITS providing technical input to resolving issues and engaging with service management.
• Provide expert advice and guidance as and when required to project team members, stakeholders, and colleagues in other departments.
• Plan up to several months ahead to assist with the prioritised user requirements within the project.
• Liaise with other teams inside and outside of the project to allocate and co-ordinate resources and work as required.

Stakeholder Relationship Management:
• Develop relationships, and work in close partnership, with key stakeholders including work-stream leads, project managers and the supplier.
• Support the work of integration developers with dynamic and batch exporting of data via Stu-Talk.
• Collaborate with the Test Manager and Technical and Data Lead to develop a framework that will ensure the SITS environments are properly maintained, configured and populated with suitable test data.

Team Leadership and Management:
• Provide line management to other members of the project team as may be required.
• Influence and motivate others to deliver high performance against project objectives and deliverables.
• Liaise with other teams inside and outside of the project to allocate and co-ordinate resources and work as required.
