The taste:

To develop and provide a first class BPM service to Diageo Business Services teams to enable them to effectively manage costs on a global basis and to consolidate the various elements of DBS costs into one.
Deliver Diageo Business Services Financials:
• Ensure DBS hits its Annual Operating Plan Financial commitments by actively managing risk and embedding a strong control and compliance environment. This includes:
- Management of financial reporting that provides insights into services delivery and cost to serve
- Identify risks & highlight/seek opportunities, ensure they are communicated, openly reviewed and managed
• Deliver the planning process:
• Ensure that DBS has an Annual Operating Plan by the agreed deadline which meets the efficiency target

Ingredients:

• Operate the Diageo Business Services planning and reporting process including Plan, Monthly actuals,
• Opportunities & Risks (O&Rs) and able to clearly communicate financial impact to the Tower leads and support them manage the overall DBS performance
• Identify and deliver improvement initiatives to continuously improve the quality of the DBS Business Performance Management process
• Operate related intercompany recharge process, ensuring relevant documentation is in place and ensuring that recharges are processed on time and accurately
• Provide leadership to the DBS Finance BPM team

How to serve:

• Qualified accountant/ college/university degree in finance/accounting
• Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience
• Fluent in English
• Excellent structural and logical thinking
• Excellent financial system and Excel skills
• Experience of working in a role requiring significant communication skills with remote locations
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Proactivity and good problem-solving skills
• Analytical skills and a high degree of attention to detail
