Business Simplification through automation of data insights to release capacity
Faster, smarter decision making through centralization of information, standardizing data visualization and shifting from reporting to analytics & insights
Improving future focus through bringing external insights into the business and driving forecasting analytics
Igniting the category annual drumbeat of activities through translation of procurement business requirements into data solutions enabling analytics and forecasting

How to serve

Support the category strategies by creating charts, providing analytical insights and integrating external reports into the category strategy decks
Act as custodian for Diageo for internal and competitive benchmarking data process to capture and share insights that can be integrated into category solutions globally
Provide clear understanding of global spend through data visualization
Drive cost modelling by owning the data maintenance, reporting and automation of the model and running the models to provide insights
Drive research projects to centralize and visualize fragmented company and supplier data to enable business analysis and development of insights
Manage external research partners to bring external insights into the business
Global tender data analysis and supporting sourcing decision making
Create procurement spend analyses aiming supplier / specification consolidation and other efficiency/effectives growth
Shape the operations planning by analysis of annual spend


University Degree in quantitative or commercially biased discipline preferable with finance background
Experience of Procurement (preferably in Packaging, Raw Materials or Marketing or Business services solutions)
Experince in cost controlling or data mining & analysing is an advantage
Analytical skills
Strong user experience working with Excel is a must
Experience in database solutions (Access or SQL), BI solutions (ideally Power BI or Qlikview,) or ERPs (ideally SAP) in an multinational business environment is an advantage
Experience in data modelling and insights delivery from fragmented data sources
Excellent communication skills
