Reporting to Europe’s Head of Digital, we have a newly created role for a Digital Analyst to join our agile, creative and resourceful team to drive action through digital analytics (utilising various platforms) across our UK and Ireland brands. Additional stakeholders for the role include the global digital data and analytics team.
This role is based in our London offices and is an incredibly important hire to help accelerate the use of digital data at Diageo. You will be expected to help transform Diageo into a leader in consumer insight-driven decision making.

As a Digital Analyst, you are critical to achieving our vision. You will make it your mission to ensure our digital marketing campaigns are powered by data. This means that you’re up to speed on best practices and trends in data design, CRM, cookie technology, BI, web analytics and data visualization. You are curious about the world and can easily establish causal relationship between events. You enjoy backing up your decisions and arguments with data.

The role will be wide and varied which means you will be liaising with a large number of both internal and external stakeholders, therefore exceptional communications skills will be key.

Top responsibilities:
The Digital Analyst sits at the heart of our European Culture, Media and Futures team, it’s your responsibility to deliver consumer insights to our brand teams, agencies and commercial teams that will help transform our business performance
You inspire, challenge and enable our marketers to deliver industry-leading digital marketing by making full use of our global training, data platforms, reporting & social intelligence tools
You work in collaboration with the brand teams at every stage of their digital activity, influencing their game plans to embed critical digital metrics to help shape success
You will lead the gathering of digital consumer insights from EMEA, feeding them back to the markets and brands, and sharing learnings globally
You are accountable for ensuring every digital campaign and digital commerce channel set up by brands have digital KPIs defined and tracked successfully
You will work with the global digital data and analytics team to deliver Diageo’s digital dashboard to the European markets and brands, ensuring data integrity, alignment of objectives, integration with ways of working and tool adoption
You will help brands embed our global data taxonomy and drive its adoption by our agencies
You will deliver clear actionable insights
Develop best practice toolkits and training programs to help our brand and local teams leverage the value from digital data
Be passionate about generating actionable insight
Presentations to internal and external teams
Stakeholder management

Experience:
We are looking to appoint a passionate individual with several years’ demonstrable hands-on experience in leveraging digital marketing data (all paid, owned and earned channels) to drive actionable insight, as well as experience in working with large numbers of stakeholders to push forward a common agenda.

This talented person could either be sat within an in-house digital marketing / analytics team or agency but must have experience interacting with brand teams.

We are looking for a confident personality with good communication skills. A person who takes an open and inclusive approach, and demonstrates excellent stakeholder management skills (Marketing, Technology)
