As a Senior Sarbanes-Oxley Subject Matter Expert you will be responsible for supporting the yearly SOX agenda, monitoring the control operation for several departments/regions and make yourself visible to Local, Regional and Market Leadership which is an outstanding opportunity to widen your process knowledge, get closer to Diageo methodology and broaden your market, SSC, Global functions oversight across Diageo.

How to serve:
Support and hold to account the GDBS, markets and Group Functions to achieve timely and flawless delivery of Control Assurance and Risk Management cycle
Delivery of control set content review
Provide general Risk &Control specific trainings to control operators
First Point of contact for GDBS, markets and Group Functions, using the most suitable communication channel and escalation route
Design assessment and Effectiveness testing coordination and quality review
Timely and effective communication of the key messages/outcomes to all stakeholder levels and with relevant internal and external business partners.
Identify issues at early stage to local management if necessary, Ensure resolution is promptly achieved
Ensure aligned and streamlined Control Audit Risk Management methodology / communications structure / market reporting across GDBS, markets and Group Functions are embedded to achieve more timely and insightful controls & compliance information for stakeholders.
Support new migration pipeline into GDBS, markets and Group Functions from a controls & compliance perspective (Control mapping, assessment update, warranty testing, etc.).
Support the GDBS compliance and ethics agenda to ensure exemplary behaviours and compliance across the business with global policies and guidelines.

University/College degree in accountancy/finance/business
Ideally 2 – 4 years of experience in internal or external audit at a multinational or Big4 environment or strong shared service process understanding
Sarbanes-Oxley experience
Excellent English knowledge
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Process improvement, Project management, Business consulting, Risk assessment experience is an advantage
