We build solutions to enable business customers to discover, research, and purchase products from a competitive marketplace with a vast selection across multiple devices and regions, and with an increasing array of customer-centric features and integrations. Since our launch in the UK in April 2017, we have built a sizable customer base that ranges from sole traders to FTSE100 companies in a wide range of industries.

We are looking for a high-calibre, results-focused Senior Manager with a talent for influencing and organising others. This person will enjoy developing broad and strong relationships with external partner organisations and other parts of Amazon to find opportunities to grow Amazon Business. Partner organisations may include commercial banks, public sector purchasing organisations, eProcurement system providers, consultancies that undertake procurement-related work, trade associations and paid referral partners. This individual will nurture and expand existing partnerships, establish new lead generation and customer acquisition opportunities, demonstrate the results from them and play an important role in shaping Amazon Business’s partnership strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Build our partner-based customer acquisition engine
- Develop deep and broad relationships with executives at partner organisations to stimulate activity and uncover new opportunities
- Identify new sales and marketing opportunities, defining a business cases to justify investment where required
- Lead contractual negotiations with new counter-parties and onboard them as partners
- Explore and prove new genres of partnership in collaboration with international colleagues
- Support development and customer adoption of partner-related features and integrations:
- Innovate, obsessively monitor the voice of the customer and deep-dive on technological solutions with product managers to drive our roadmap of partner-related integrations and features
- Define strategies to drive feature adoption by our existing customers and collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to realise them
- Identify mechanisms to track results and feed these back to colleagues and internal leaders
- Share learnings and align on the Best of Amazon across marketplaces (US, Germany, Japan)

- University degree, analytical qualification or background preferred
- Experience at a top-tier consultancy, investment bank, high-growth start-up or other fast-paced environment interacting with senior executives with a track record of success in roles of increasing responsibility
- Proven ability to develop strong and collaborative working relationships with customers or external parties and influence others to achieve outstanding results
- Strong analytical capability and writing skills to frame opportunities and report activities and results
- Ability to prioritise, organise others and demonstrate discipline and personal influence to achieve goals

- MBA from a top-tier school
- B2B sales and marketing experience, especially partner-based lead generation and customer acquisition
- A passion for technology and ensuring great customer experiences
- Knowledge of one or more of the following would be beneficial:
- B2B procurement
- Public sector procurement framework agreements
- Payments, in particular card or virtual card-based payments
- EProcurement and other source-to-settle software systems
- Third party referral marketing and customer promotions.
