Head of EU Marketing, Payment Products

In this role, you and your team will drive engagement of existing cardholders and new customer acquisition. Under your leadership, your team will open new on and off-Amazon channels for Amazon’s payment products by collaborating with product management, data science, engineering and traffic. Lead your team to optimize traffic channels included mass media, display ads, and social media. Launch new products across multiple geographies, including UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. Your team will also partner with Retail, Prime, Prime Now, Amazon Business and other strategic programs.

In addition to leading channels expansion efforts, your team will drive core acquisition and engagement marketing through the Amazon Payment Products’ financial ad serving platform. This machine learning platform leverages probabilistic models to deliver targeted ads in real-time throughout the purchase path. Our team of high caliber marketers, software developers, statisticians, and product managers use rigorous quantitative approaches to ensure we target the right product to the right customer at the right moment, managing trade-offs between click through rate, approval rates and lifetime value.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced brand or product marketing manager who can think strategically and execute flawlessly. To be successful you’ll need to be an effective leader and strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams. You will manage a team of marketers, refining their strategies, prioritizing projects, and implementing individual growth and learning plans for your team members.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
· 7+ years of direct B2C / FMCG marketing experience in a digital environment
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with marketing team and visual designers
· Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines through process improvements and communication practices
· Ability to coach, develop and manage local country marketing managers in supporting their local business goals
· Define best practice and ensure adoption across countries where appropriate
· Champion for International Payment Products (IPP) interests and ensure IPP requirements are fed into global marketing program roadmaps

· Familiarity with Content Symphony and Bullseye
· Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
· 3+ years of leading marketing teams
· Experience with Machine Learning
· Experience with Marketing Financial Services products
· MBA preferred, but not required.
