The role will partner with our Total Rewards team to drive Audible's compensation strategy. You will focus on supporting global compensation initiatives, drive the data management of compensation systems and tools, and develop recommendations needed to support compensation related continuous improvement projects. Additionally, you will assist with the effective research, evaluation, analysis and establishment of compensation ranges and participate in compensation market surveys. To be successful, candidates should demonstrate the ability to balance excellent analytical and technical skills while clearly driving communication and collaboration across multiple teams with competing priorities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Supporting Audible’s global compensation plans, programs, policies and practices in areas such as focal compensation and performance planning, annual salary survey submissions, organizational market assessments and compliance projects, etc.
· Developing, administrating and enhancing innovative compensation tools, systems and reports
· Maintaining, Preparing compensation related data (e.g. job code) in HR and Finance systems
· Preparing compensation reports/queries as needed (e.g. program spend, new hire offers) and ensuring integrity of data and reporting methodologies
· Compiling and evaluating quantitative and qualitative compensation related data sets against internal and external benchmarking

Basic Qualifications
· Compensation administration and analysis experience
· Demonstrated data manipulation skills, including work with complex data structures and queries
· Advanced Excel skills; ability to build, manage and use Excel tools for compensation calculation, analysis and related purposes

· Creating and administering Excel spreadsheet tools for compensation analysis, forecasting, planning and administration
· Conducting ongoing metrics analysis and supporting new analytic strategies for current and future measurement
· Documenting and administering existing and future processes needed to streamline operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
· Coordinating the preparation of position descriptions and, evaluating positions using market-based benchmarking tools
· Communicating and training internal and external clients on compensation policies and practices

· Deep analytical reporting experience
· Understands and applies compensation principles and practices
· Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills
· Determines a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required.
· Uses previous experience to undertake analysis and investigation to solve differing, but related, problems.
· May require the initiation of contacts to resolve and discuss mutual problems or collaboration on procedures or transactions.
· Conveys information to occasionally divergent audiences that may require some persuasion.
· Understands and communicates fairly complex information within the specialization or recognized body of formal knowledge.
· Supports the achievement of goals through own personal effort.
· Responsible for planning own work, assessing own progress, and adjusting efforts to meet goals.
· Accountable for managing impact on cost and profitability of the business.
