Senior Change Manager

Job Summary

AECOM is looking to hire a Change Manager with experience developing and delivering workplace change projects. The role is based in London and will focus on clients in the commercial sector primarily, working with organisations supporting their workplace transformation and culture change programmes.

Responsibilities within role:

Good working knowledge of workplace research, engagement and strategy.
Understand the client’s change requirements in order to develop an appropriate change management approach
Assess change readiness and establish change measures prior to project implementation
Creating and implement the change plan tailored to the needs of the client
Building relationships with the stakeholders to that the ensure change plan is fit for purpose
Lead stakeholder engagement to support the change management programme.
Set up and manage the change champion network
Liaise with other projects, programmes and departments to ensure a joined up experience for end users
Identify the appropriate level of learning required by end users and stakeholders to achieve desired outcome of change programme
Work with in-house training and communications teams or external partners to ensure effective training and communications are developed and delivered.
Conduct training and communication plans as required
Support the project team and ensure they understand the change initiative being delivered
Capture lessons learned and support the organisation transitions to Business as Usual.
Deliver the change programme within budgets and within the agreed timescales
High level knowledge of the design process in order to align change activities to key milestones

Minimum Requirements

Previous experience in successful delivery of large scale organisational change, particularly on transition programmes involving changes to people, processes, IT, behaviour and culture.
Previous experience engaging with and leading stakeholders through structural, procedural, technology and cultural change.
Solid understanding of people change management theory.
Practical examples of translating change impacts into workable change plans and delivering those change plans to achieve organisational readiness.
Working with programme teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
Effective communications skills, including writing, development of visuals and delivering presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor Degree.
