View the 2010 progressive employers for women
Due to the UK recession in 2010, amidst the global financial crisis where businesses were focusing more on redundancies than recruitment, it was decided that the Top 50 list would be paused and that an information-only publication would be provided. With many HR and marketing employees no longer in their roles - organizations had limited resource or capacity for entering employer awards.
Thus around a dozen committed employers made the decision to step forward and submit case studies to maintain momentum - and show their commitment to female candidates - even in such a time of economic recession.
The TOP 50 returned again in 2011, invigorated with a refined focus and processes, and continues as a robust guide for UK career women keen to research and compare progressive employers.
