WTW marked World Menopause Day, a day is to raise awareness of the menopause and the support options available for improving health and wellbeing.

Menopausal women are a fastest-growing demographic in the workplace, so it is important employers are continuously increasing their understanding of the topic in order to create an informed and supportive environment for employees.

In recognition of World Menopause Day, WTW continued to raise awareness and tackle the stigma and myths surrounding peri-menopause and menopause.

Marking World Menopause Awareness Day

The peri-menopause and the menopause can be a life-changing experience for many women, and without awareness and support, it can be a challenging and isolating time. This is why World Menopause Day aims to raise awareness of the menopause and to support options to improve health and well-being for women in mid-life and beyond.

Participating in a global awareness raising campaign by sharing materials on the menopause, organizing events to engage their communities, and sharing World Menopause Day social media posts is key.

"Increasing understanding isn't just helpful for women, it's key for us all because it gives us the skills to support our colleagues, friends and family," said WTW's Global Head of Risk & Broking, Adam Garrard.
