QBE European Operations has appointed Naintara Agarwal as its Director of Underwriting & Portfolio Management for Europe.
Naintara brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role from an insurance industry career spanning more than 15 years. Her experience includes leadership roles in developing underwriting strategies, portfolio management, pricing and developing and executing business plans across several business lines.
Leading the underwriting strategy for Europe
Most recently, Naintara was Group Head of Underwriting Performance, having joined QBE in 2019.
In her new role, Naintara will be responsible for leading the underwriting strategy for Europe, working closely with QBE Europe’s general managers to ensure longer term profitability and growth.
Major ambitions for the European business
Based in London, Naintara will report to Beatriz Valenti Barbat, Director of Insurance at QBE Europe and also Nick Hankin, Chief Underwriting Officer for QBE International.
