Catherine Harris, Non-Executive Director at Tyro

Catherine Harris is the Chair of Australia’s largest independent produce retailer, Harris Farm Markets Pty Ltd. She is on the Board of The Australian Rugby League Commission, The Australian Ballet, Sport Australia Hall of Fame, The Australian School of Business UNSW and Governor of The University of Notre Dame. Previous roles have included Trustee of the SCG, Deputy Chancellor UNSW, Director of Affirmative Action and on the Board of the Australian Defence Force Academy, The National Gallery of Australia, The MCA, and the Australia Japan Foundation. Catherine is an Officer in the Order of Australia and was awarded the Australian Public Service Medal, The Centenary Medal and has an Honorary Doctorate in Business from UNSW. Catherine and her husband David’s passion is horse riding on their farm in the Blue Mountains. They have five sons and seven grandchildren.

Bronwyn joined Tyro in October 2017 with over 20 years of experience in financial services and consulting. Prior to joining Tyro, Bronwyn has held several senior roles across various divisions within the Commonwealth Bank of Australia since 2005. Before moving to Australia in 2004, Bronwyn had a consulting career with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in the U.S. and across Asia working with clients from multiple industries from manufacturing to financial services. She has extensive experience in challenging status quo and delivering on innovative processes and solutions. Bronwyn has a passion for driving transformational change to organisations and teams leveraging on technology and disruptive thinking to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Yvette has almost 14 years’ experience in Human Resources. Starting her career in recruitment specialising in hiring tech talent in the banking and finance industry, she developed her career to an HR management role during her time at Avanade, the Microsoft technology consulting arm of Accenture, and more recently, leading the global HR operations of Nearmap, a market leader in geospatial map technology. Joining Tyro in December 2016 to establish and grow the HR function, Yvette is a well-rounded HR leader with proven capability in solving complex business problems with extensive experience in the design and delivery of HR operational, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, leadership development and culture development initiatives to drive business strategy.
