Forbes release list of Best Employers for Women

In the first-ever ranking of America's Best Employers for Women, Forbes, in partnership with research company Statista, has announced the crème de la crème of America's employers for women. Results were accumulated from a survey that saw 40,000 Americans, including 25,000 women working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees take part. Respondents rated their employers on things like diversity, parental leave, pay equity, and how likely they were to recommend their employer to others. The results equated to 300 companies that showcase themselves as the best of the best for working conditions, culture, gender parity and opportunities for women across America.

Global opportunities are endless for women at EY

Professional services giant, EY, is home to more than a quarter of a million staff around the world. Women in STEM are encouraged to excel at Caterpillar 

Headquartered in Peoria, Illinois, with 98,400 staff globally, Caterpillar holds an impressive place on the list. Caterpillar is renowned for supporting women in girls into STEM careers to plug the gender gap in roles that have traditionally targeted men. Together with their place on America's Best Employers for Women, Caterpillar has also recently been ranked upon the world's most admired companies and included for the 24th consecutive year on the Fortune 500 list at number 65.
