A fabulous STEM Scholars Program

That's why they announced their STEM Scholars Program that sees a fabulous donation of $5,000 to a deserving local female high school student looking to pursue a career in STEM at the college or university of their choice.

Providing brilliant leadership development support for women

84.51° also launched Power Squad, where 84.51° leaders will undertake leadership development. The program is the product of a partnership between 84.51° and Women Excel (WE), the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber's suite of events and programs for women in business. 

84.51°'s program is based on WE Succeed, the Cincinnati Chamber’s three-month executive coaching experience. Power Squad focuses on a group of diverse women, particularly women of color, within the same company who are high achievers and are women 84.51° wants to retain. The Squad is a personal board of advisors who provide strategies and support for each participant.

“The Cincinnati Chamber is thrilled to apply its leadership development experience and best practices to this innovative program,” adds Tamara Lang, Women Excel programs leader for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. “84.51° has an obsession for investing in top talent and inclusivity. We share that with them and are incredibly excited to collaborate with a great partner to bring Power Squad to life.”

“Power Squad is designed to invest in diverse female talent to create a leadership pipeline for an organization,” said Paaras Parker, Head of Talent at 84.51°. “Power Squad participants will grow professionally, prepare for success, cultivate community, become influencers and help develop emerging leaders at 84.51° and in our region.”
