AECOM VP Lori Labrum receives diversity leadership award

Lori Labrum, AECOM Vice President and Transit-Rail Division Manager, has received the Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award. 

Lori is passionate about diversity and inclusion and leads by empowering women both at AECOM and across the transportation industry.

The award is granted by WTS, an organisation that attracts, sustains, connects and advances women’s careers to strengthen the transportation industry. 

Significant engineering and planning experience

Lori works in AECOM’s Houston office, helping to drive overall growth. She is a senior engineer with over three decades of engineering and planning experience for transit agencies throughout the AECOM Central Region.

She oversaw Utah Transit Authority’s 10.5-mile bus rapid transit project through Provo and Orem, Utah and was the project manager for the Northern Arizona Transit Authority in Flagstaff.

"I had the privilege of working with Lori on many transportation/traffic engineering and planning projects," says Miguel Aceves, Senior Engineering Manager at AECOM. "Lori is an innovative, honest, and self motivated engineer and manager who can successfully take on even the most challenging project.
