Packaging Program Manager for Diageo, Mamta Singhal, is irecognised on the 2022 New Year's Honour's List through an MBE from Her Majesty The Queen.
Recognition for service to industry
Mamta is recognised for her services to engineering and for being an active ambassador for women in the sector.

Further successful achievements to date
A Chartered Design Engineer and Consumer Goods Expert, Mamta Singhal, MBE, holds an affiliated degree in Product Design Engineering from Glasgow University/Glasgow School of Art, an MSc in Engineering Management from Strathclyde University and an MBA with distinction from Strathclyde International Business School.
Mamta's MBE for services to STEM isn't her first industry accolade. In 2004m Mamta was a finalist for the UK’s Young Achiever Leadership and Diversity Awards while in 2007 she was the Women Engineering Society Young Women Engineer of the Year. In 2008, Mamta was placed in the global top four for MBA student of the year.
Mamta is also proactive in using her position to empower women and promote diversity, and is an ambassador for Dyslexia Scotland.
