AECOM's Suzanne Murtha named in Top 50 Women Leaders list

AECOM Global Lead for Connected and Automated Technology, Suzanne Murtha, is named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Virginia by Women We Admire.

The list celebrates women leaders across various fields including healthcare, financial services, engineering, education, and more. 

A transportation industry leader 

Based in Mount Vernon, Virginia, Suzanne has over two decades years of experience and is a transportation industry leader in numerous areas of advanced automotive technologies.

Suzanne is on the board of directors of the OmniAir Consortium, a trade association that advocates for the development and promotion of certification for the intelligent transportation industry as well as the board of directors for AUVSI, a trade association dedicated to the promotion of the deployment of automated vehicles across all modes of transportation and logistics.

Suzanne is dedicated to improving transportation safety and mobility and is the chair for the ITS America eVTOL Task Force and the AUVSI AV Goods Movement Task Force.

Working with an international community 

With a background in advanced automotive technologies including deployments of connected and automated vehicles, smart cities, big data and most recently eVTOLs, Suzanne has worked with the international transport community and industry on advanced research, standards development, and certification processes.

She has supported large-scale program management contracts and evaluation efforts for federal, state, local, and private clients. Suzanne graduated from Villanova University with an undergraduate degree in philosophy and business.
