John Deere supports its local communities and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. 12-year-old Westyn Wilson from Arizona is in remission after a cancer diagnosis and weekly chemotherapy sessions. In partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps fulfill the wishes of children with a critical illness, John Deere made his dream of visiting the John Deere Harvester Works facility a reality.
“I know he has been waiting on this wish to be granted for over two years, and for it to come to life today is amazing. All the employees out there today were just so happy to have him here and to show him what they do,” saidJohn Deere internal control analyst, Pam Lohman.
