CNA's Marina Rozenblat is an expert in her scientific field

Meet CNA's Enterprise Systems and Data Analysis Division Center Chief Scientist, Marina Chumakov Rozenblat.

Marina is an expert in information data modeling of aeronautical information, systems engineering, and information and data management support for NextGen and other FAA organizations.

Successfully leading several projects

Marina specializes in the Aeronautical Information Exchange Model (AIXM), its international and local modeling, and its implementation in web services. Marina has successfully led several data modeling and information management projects at the FAA and has supported the development of international guidance materials for the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Prior career and academic experience 

Prior to joining CNA, Marina was a ORISE Fellow at the Food and Drug Administration, Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), Office of Science and Engineering Laboratories (OSEL) where she studied ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and served as scientific consult evaluations and analysis of deficiencies of 510(k) and pre-investigational device exemptions of total joint replacement device submissions.

Marina has a Ph.D. in bioengineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. Marina is fluent in Russian and has a basic comprehension of French.
