Jessica Spence is named Beam Suntory's North America President

Several moves within Beam Suntory's executive leadership team see Jessica Spence named President of North America.

As President North America, Jessica is responsible for leading commercial operations in the region that includes the company’s largest and most profitable market, the US.

Responsible for major global brands

Jessica joined Beam Suntory in 2019 as the company's first President of Brands where she established and led the company’s global brands organization. Jessica was responsible for Beam Suntory’s largest global brands, and worked closely with the region presidents to lead the company’s global premiumization agenda. In addition to end-to-end global brand strategy, development and performance, Jessica led global innovation and product R&D; emerging marketing technologies, tools and platforms; and integrated marketing communications and design.

Working in impressive leadership roles

Prior to Beam Suntory, Jessica served as Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer for the Carlsberg Group, overseeing the company’s global marketing, sales, insights, R&D and innovation functions. 

Jessica previously served as Carlsberg’s Senior Vice President Commercial based in Copenhagen, and in senior commercial and marketing roles for Carlsberg Asia based in Hong Kong. 
Prior to joining Carlsberg in 2012, Jessica held marketing roles of increasing responsibility for SABMiller in Russia, Slovakia and Poland, as well as in business development based in London. Jessica has prior experience with global advertising agencies Leo Burnett and J Walter Thompson. 
Jessica is a graduate of Cambridge University, the London School of Economics & Political Science (post-graduate diploma), and INSEAD (MBA). Jessica resides in Chicago.
