Schneider Electric makes finalist in the HR Distinction Awards

 November 21, 2017

Celebrating innovatively designed and executed HR strategies that have contributed to outstanding business, the HR Distinction Awards are recognised as a mark of excellency within Human Resources teams across the country.

This year, Schneider Electric has been shortlisted within the Inclusion and Diversity category, recognising the team’s fantastic work in creating an inclusive culture where all forms of diversity are seen as real value for the company.

An inclusive and diverse culture

By transforming corporate behaviour, Schneider Electric puts gender equality on top of its agenda and makes diversity one of its key business and people strategy components.

With a range of programmes in place to support this including STEM initiatives, female-friendly graduate programmes, un-conscious bias training, a commitment to women in leadership, a brand new Global Family Leave Policy, Women’s Empowerment Principles and the UN’s HeForShe campaign - it is no wonder that Schneider Electric is making waves and receiving such high recognition in this field.

This year alone Schneider Electric teams have been shortlisted for In-House Recruitment Awards, Business Culture Awards and CIPD People Management Awards to name a few.

A great place to work

By recognising that an inclusive workforce unlocks innovation and creativity and fosters collaboration, Schneider Electric is leading the way to a brighter, more diverse future.

Why not take a look at these current vacancies. From Engineering through to project management - there could be a perfect job for you!

Well deserved recognition

The winners of the HR Distinction Awards will be announced on the 6th February at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, UK. Where Women Work wishes the impressive team at Schneider Electric all the best!
