Project Manager Eliza Kochova works out Entain's Bulgaria office

Meet Project Manager Eliza Kochova - Елиза Кочова, who is based out of Entain's buzzing office in Sofia, Bulgaria and believes that "teamwork is everything."

One of Eliza's hidden talents is finding creative ways to solve tricky problems. "I'm also very good at playing foosball," she adds.

Collaborating across the company

Eliza's job role at Entain focuses on cross-functional collaboration and supporting different teams. Eliza's aims to make sure projects stay on track and that everything keeps running smoothly.

"People might be surprised how much problem solving and adaptability my job requires. Project management is not just about plans and schedules. It's about bringing people together, managing risks, and also making sure that everything runs smoothly, aligned with our company vision," explains Eliza.

Working in a diverse team

Eliza describes the Sofia office as a "lovely workplace" with a diverse workplace of around 600 people from around 18 nationalities.

"We support different brands and teams across the globe. Our office hosts teams like Customer Service, Software Engineering, Trading, Corporate, and Digital. What I love the most about the atmosphere is the dynamics and the teamwork," says Eliza.

"If you visit Sofia, you must go to the Vitosha Mountain. It's just a short drive from the city and it offers breathtaking views. In the winter, you can go skiing there," suggests Eliza.

Delivering successful projects

For Eliza, a truly rewarding moment was when she helped develop a dashboard system tailored to her team's needs, which highlighted the best at Entain.

"Here, we solve our problems internally with the incredible talent of our colleagues in Hyderabad. By building the dashboard, we have a data-driven approach. We can measure the success of the training, and we automated half of the process. Personally, it was fulfilling to use my project management skills to bring it all together and to deliver a successful project," explains Eliza.

Building strong relationships

Furthermore, Eliza shares her advice for someone starting a career at Entain: "Ask questions, be curious, take on new challenges, and build strong relationships with your colleagues. Teamwork is everything."
