Schneider Electric is where women work

Diversity drives success

At Schneider Electric, Diversity & Inclusion is at the heart of the organisation, it's an integral part of their history, culture and identity. They recognise that embracing diversity unlocks innovation and creativity and fosters collaboration. They want their employees to reflect the diversity of their communities and the customers they serve. As a result, their teams are stronger to drive the company's future.

Advancing women's equality

Schneider Electric is committed to the implementation of policies that advance and empower women in the workplace, marketplace and community.

This requires implementing a range of tailored strategies and actions to achieve concrete and sustainable programmes with measurable impact.

At the Women's Empowerment Principles event CEO Leadership Awards, Jean-Pascal Tricoire, CEO of Schneider Electric was recognised with a coveted 1st place for ‘Business Case for Action’ for demonstrating commitment and implementation of strategies structured to reach these goals.

Many political celebrities were there to support this event. Hilary Clinton said that "women and men who understand that gender equality is not just morally right, but is the smart thing to do, are growing in number.“

Ban Ki Moon (United nations Secretary-General) said "Now, it is clear that achieving gender equality will require the concerted efforts of all actors ... Removing the barriers that keep women and girls on the margins of economic, social, cultural and political life must be a top priority for all of us."
