Margherita Adragna takes on President role at Eaton

Margherita (Maggi) Adragna has been named President, Vehicle Group, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Eaton.

In this important role, Maggi will be responsible for leading all business activities for the EMEA region to support the organization’s financial, productivity and growth commitments.

Joao Faria, President, Eaton’s Vehicle Group, says: “Maggi’s diverse experiences and broad leadership make her an excellent fit for her new role. I am confident her leadership and wealth of knowledge will drive growth, efficiency and productivity across the region.”

Maggi will be based in Torino, Italy, and will report directly to Joao.

Bringing a wealth of experience to the organization

Maggi joins Eaton after an extensive 28-year career with General Electric, where she worked in multiple divisions and industries, including oil and gas, and distributed power. She has held positions in various financial, functional and general management roles, including Global Head of Quality for GE Oil & Gas (now Baker Hughes, a GE company), Senior General Manager of Services for GE’s Distributed Power Business, Strategic Initiatives Leader for Global Supply Chain and Business Leader of Heavy Wall Reactors and Heat Exchangers for GE Oil & Gas.

Most recently, Maggi was Senior General Manager for GE Industrial Solutions’ Lifecycle Solutions business, where she led the transition into ABB. With such an impressive CV, she has also served as Chairperson of the European Association for the Promotion of Cogeneration (COGEN EU).

Maggi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California, in addition to a Master of Business Administration degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York.
