Colt supports coding workshops for next generation of STEM talent

Colt translates this passion into action through its partnership with Meet and Code that supports the next generation of coders via digital education.

The partnership sees Colt support hundreds of coding workshops across Europe, funded by the Meet and Code grant programme.

Enabling young people to shape their digital future

From small towns to big cities, local NGOs are inspiring children and teens to explore creativity, teamwork and problem-solving through code via workshops that bring digital learning closer to children and teens, helping them gain the confidence and skills they need to shape their own digital future.

Behind these workshops stands Colt Technology Services and its belief that access to technology should be for everyone, while understanding the power of real connection.

Introducing young people to technology and coding

The Meet and Code initiative is organized by TechSoup Europe together with the respective country partners from the TechSoup Europe network. Colt is a supporting donor partner, contributing additional resources and employee engagement to help bring coding opportunities to more young people across Europe.

The goal of Meet and Code is to introduce children and young people to technology and coding. The events are designed to show young people how much fun coding can be, and how it can help bring innovation to life. Participants learn how technology works and how IT affects our daily lives. By exploring a broad range of tech, digital topics, and creative coding, they will be encouraged to develop the skills they need for tomorrow's competitive digital economy.

Meet and Code supports local nonprofits across Europe to provide access to coding and digital skills for the next generation of young Europeans. Meet and Code helps non-profits organize grassroots coding events supporting communities of all sizes to make Europe more digital, starting at a local level.

Meet and Code is where young Europeans take their first steps as digital creators. They learn not only coding but also problem-solving and collaboration to help build their future in a modern society.

Connecting colleagues to communities
