The accolade acknowledges the excellence and integrity of Indian corporate leaders - and celebrates Roshni's outstanding contributions towards inclusive development in the country.
Roshni is a dedicated business leader and philanthropist
Roshni is an impressive woman. In addition to her roles with HCL Technologies, she is a Founder & Trustee at The Habitats Trust - a foundation working towards protecting habitats and their indigenous species. Passionate about wildlife and nature, Roshni founded the Trust with the mission of creating sustainable ecosystems through strategic partnerships and collaborations with stakeholders.
Roshni is a Trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation that is committed to the process of nation-building by driving transformational leadership through education. She is also the Chairperson of VidyaGyan, a leadership academy for underprivileged, rural students of Uttar Pradesh, and is part of the Forum of Young Global Leaders (YGL), a community of the world's most outstanding, next-generation leaders.
In addition to her fast-paced work life as an HCL leader and philanthropist, Roshni has a busy home life as a mother to two sons.

Receiving numerous awards for inspirational work
Back in 2015, Roshni received The World's Most Innovative People Award for Philanthropic Innovation by The World Summit on Innovation & Entrepreneurship (WSIE), in partnership with the UN. Then in 2017 she was conferred with Lewis Institute Community Changemaker Award by Babson College. Also, Vogue India presented Roshni with the Philanthropist of the Year award. Roshni has been featured in The World's 100 Most Powerful Women list released by Forbes in 2018 and 2017.
Now, she has scooped the accolade of Indian Business Leader of The Year from Horasis, a global visions community. Horasis hosts annual economic summits, including the flagship Horasis Global Meeting in Cascais, Portugal, to advance solutions to the most critical challenges facing corporations today. Among the hundreds of participants are CEOs of the world’s most respected corporations, key leaders from emerging markets, and public figures including heads of government.
