F5 Networks is working to help solve homelessness in Seattle through being a partner of United Way of King County's Home Base and Streets to Home programs.
For some Americans, the threat of eviction from their homes can be just one paycheck away. Home Base provides one-time emergency funds to pay rent, support of a social worker to connect to other services and develop a long-term plan, and volunteer legal representation to help navigate the process.
Meanwhile, Streets to Home connects people to the resources they need to be housed again. The initiative offers an individual approach; with outreach workers assessing each person's situation and having discretionary dollars to help them get back on their feet.
F5 Networks celebrated the partnership with a special day which involved F5 employees volunteering to help people within their community.

F5 Networks' Global Good Manager Carina Weyer tweeted: "I’m so proud that @F5Networks has partnered with @UnitedWayKC’s Streets to Home & Home Base programs with the ultimate goal of solving #homelessness in #Seattle. Yesterday was a special day where 30 F5 employees stepped up to volunteer & help those in need in our community. #BeF5."
