Rosine works in France's first Robotics Fulfillment Center

Women working with Amazon are undertaking interesting work in different countries and locations. Like Rosine who joined the Operations team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician in the Fulfillment Center in Brétigny-Sur-Orge, France.

As an RME Technician, Rosine's mission is to maintain all equipment for the Amazon Robotic section of the fulfillment center. This can include the maintenance of Drives Units (DU), Chargers, or other equipment in the workstation. Rosine also does preventive and corrective maintenance.

When asked about her proudest moment at Amazon, Rosine says “I feel really proud to work in the first Robotics Fulfillment Center in France. Being part of the launch, and supporting the team to make sure everything will be ready for the launch of the new site in Brétigny-sur-Orge, makes me feel very proud and super thrilled.”

Rosine’s belives persistence is one of her greatest skills. “When I’m trying to learn something new or solve a problem, I never give up. I get tunnel vision and I persist until I get it done. It does not always mean that the solution needs to come from me! Sometimes it means that I hire someone who can provide the solution. But I persist until it is done,” she explains.

Working with passionate people building new products

When asked what she likes about Amazon's culture, Rosine says “What I like the most in the Amazon culture, is working with passionate people who are building new products or services every day on behalf of our customers. I feel empowered working in such an environment.”

In her spare time, Rosine prioritizes spending quality time with her family and children. “We enjoy watching movies or superhero TV shows. And I like watching my children play sports," she comments.
