 October 30, 2019

Marketing Director and Global Core Spine Therapy Segment Leader at Medtronic, Audra Watt, has been honored for her work after being recognized via the Super Women in Business event.

Audra received the accolade from the Memphis Business Journal (MBJ).

Each year, MBJ honors 25 standout female business leaders for positive contributions to both their professions and their communities at its annual Super Women in Business event. The honorees span all sectors and industries - from banking and government, through to nonprofits and logistics.

Following a public nomination process, honorees were selected by MBJ based not only on career achievements and impact, but how they go above and beyond outside of work.

"Congrats to Audra Watt, Marketing Director, Medtronic Spine for being recognized for her many achievements both in Medtronic and in her community! Each year, the Memphis Business Journal honors 25 standout female business leaders for positive contributions to both their professions and their communities at its annual Super Women in Business event. We are so proud to celebrate Audra’s contributions and success," said Medtronic.

An impactful career spanning marketing and technology

Audra holds a double major degree in chemistry and economics from Vanderbilt University and returned to the university to complete an Executive MBA program. She initially worked with Medtronic in Memphis as a Product Manager and after continuing her education realized she wanted to move within Medtronic into integrating more advanced healthcare technologies into surgical procedures.

She initially moved into the role of Marketing Program Manager, then became Senior Manager and then Global Core Spine Therapy Segment Leader. She was promoted to Marketing Director in 2018 and has gone on to expand her responsibilities to include additional global spine therapy segment responsibilities.
