Colleagues working with Exyte enjoy a strong feeling of camaraderie and team spirit, often and they participate in community events outside of their workplace.
The Bottwartal Marathon and Half Marathon in Germany saw a new attendance record and among those participating were Exyte employees Sarah, Eric and Hans who took part in the half marathon option, following the 21.1 km track through picturesque countryside.
A record-breaking marathon event
More than 5,000 participants were at the Bottwartal Marathon at the start. It was reported to be a windless and sunny day with thousands of spectators turning up to watch the action.
The runner-friendly track is divided into a Nordschleife (half marathon) and a Südschleife (full marathon). The Nordschleife leads through Hof and Lembach, Oberstenfeld, Gronau, Schmidhausen, Beilstein over Oberstenfeld back to Bottwartal-Kellerei in Großbottwar.
There were thousands of finishers on both days of the marathon event and this record attendance was made possible by more than 1,000 late registrations that the organising team managed to accommodate.
