Feeling she belongs at Northrop Grumman
Mei-Li started her career as an intern test engineer, and thought the entire project was really fascinating. She ended up asking: "My passion is design. What role can I play?"
"I worked under a different lead who was absolutely amazing in guiding me to figure out a design in four days," explains Mei-Li. "Normally a design could take months, but we had worked away at it and were able to produce results successfully.
After a week at working so hard at this one project, Mei-Li was empowered with a new confidence: she knew that she could pursue her passion.
"It was the moment that I was like - I really like it here, I belong," she adds.
