Medtronic Chief Financial Officer Karen Parkhill is ranked at number two in the Top 25 Women Leaders in Medical Devices by The Healthcare Technology Report

The Healthcare Technology Report selected Karen due to her expertise and impact on both Medtronic and the medical device field and her being a role model for promoting women's leadership in the healthcare technology industry.

In particular, Karen's leadership and guidance have supported Medtronic as it navigated through the challenges of the pandemic.

Key leadership positions throughout her career

As a member of Medtronic's Executive Committee, Karen is responsible for leading the Medtronic global finance organization and key supporting functions.

Previously, Karen was Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Comerica Incorporated, and Chief Financial Officer of JPMorgan Chase and Co.

Karen also serves as the Executive Sponsor of the Medtronic PRIDE Employee Resource Group and Women’s Network “Commit to Connect” leadership program that supports senior women leadership development at Medtronic.

In 2015, Karen was named among American Banker’s “The 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking” in 2015, and “The 25 Women to Watch” in 2011 and 2013.
