Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies is a specialist creative institute part of Nottingham Trent University that offers further and higher education courses.

Located in the city centre of Nottingham, Confetti delivers exciting college courses in subjects like digital media, music and games development. Offering courses from college-level right up to postgraduate study, Confetti is a nationally renowned creative hub, and a magnet for digital talent.

Confetti has recently announced an exciting partnership with Saffron - a social enterprise whose mission is to increase the number of women and non-binary people working in the music tech industry, advancing gender equality in the sector by creating safe spaces to learn and build confidence.

Helping students start careers and explore creativity

Saffron is running courses in Music Production and Sound Engineering from Confetti’s world-class facilities at Metronome. Open to women and non-binary people age 16+, the courses introduce aspiring producers and sound engineers to the fundamentals of their subject and, under the wing of Saffron’s creative community, students will be provided with the technical understanding, support and confidence needed to kickstart their careers or simply explore their creative curiosity.

Intended for beginners, the sound engineering course is walking participants through recording and mixing in a DAW, studio and live setting and the music production course is focused on Ableton Live 11.
