WTW Service Center Manager Renee Hill always thought she was going to be a teacher. She sees her role as a Service Center Manager as just that, but in a different form, ensuring her team has the tools to support the employees calling about healthcare or retirement benefits.

"I emphasize to my team how important their role is. They are the health benefits educators to the participants call us. I'm a big fan of excellent customer service and I hold my team to that expectation," shares Renee.

Helping employees make decisions before retirement

Renee's role is an important starting point for the interactions that occur all day every day within WTW service centers.

"Our service centers are the face of benefits to the employees and retirees calling in; we are their link to accurate information that they use to make life-altering decisions. Our service center teams help employees make decisions before retirement that will affect their livelihood during those precious years. We also help determine when something isn’t working properly and communicate with the internal teams to ensure issues are resolved," shares Renee.

A big fan of excellent customer service

"I always emphasize to my team how important their role is. They are the health benefits educators to the participants who are calling us. These choices will have a huge impact on the participant’s health, finances, and families. I’m a big fan of excellent customer service, and I hold my team to that expectation," explains Renee.

Renee also enjoys watching her team members grow and excel in their roles. "My dream job when I was a kid was to be a teacher, which I always equated to teaching children; however, it seems that leading adults was my true calling!" she concludes.
