A diverse award winning university

“It’s a unique experience to collaborate with people from other countries and other cultures, because when all of these ideas come together from completely different backgrounds - the result is amazing,” says Niki Tr, who is studying an MSc Structural Concrete Engineering, in the Department of Civil and Structural engineering.

“In my group in particular we are about 45 people. I was always joking that we only miss Japan in our collection of countries, but now we have a japanese student aswell!” says Dr. Claudia Mazza, a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Inspiring a new generation

The University of Sheffield is well known for its engineering leadership - and they actively promote the need for more girls to undertake science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) studies via various events throughout the year.

Recognised as one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK by The Sunday Times, there are some excellent roles available now at the University of Sheffield. Take a look at these current vacancies.
