Honeywell is marking Pride Month and shining a spotlight on Futureshaper and Senior Information Technology Analyst, Rosalba Rodriguez, who shares what being a part of Honeywell's LGBTQ Employee Network has meant for her and why she is determined to make a difference in the diversity field.

Enjoying a transformational work culture

"I would describe Honeywell's culture as transformational. It has been a great journey to see how it has changed and the willingness of our executives and leadership team to foster that change, to move the needle, to support the ones that are trying to make it happen," she shares.

Being appreciated for who you are

Rosalba says she has always felt like she is appreciated for who she is and the work she can do - and that she is not judged by how she looks or who she loves, but she feels capable of doing what is being asked of her, and is providing good results through her work.

"Being part of Honeywell's LGBTQ network has been life changing for me, says Rosalba. "It has helped me to define what I want to do for my living, and I would definitely like to develop my career in the diversity sector of the company."

Rosalba says: "I think you become a Futureshaper when you start joining these efforts in order to create a better environment for the company, for the employees, to create and foster a happy place to work, a place that supports you and that will enable you to continue growing yourself. I think that's why I am a Futureshaper."
